Paint and Take a Rain Barrel

FreeLooking for a fun, family-friendly activity that helps save the planet? Join a naturalist and our special guests from The Conservation Foundation to celebrate World Rivers Day! Learn about water-conservation activities your family can incorporate at home. Each family will paint a rain barrel to take home to install and help conserve precious freshwater.
If you’d like to just add your artistic touches to the rain barrels, you can leave them for future sales through The Conservation Foundation. While painting, learn about the various organizations within our community dedicated to protecting our rivers and streams. While at Hidden Oaks, you can also take part in our Hidden Water Hunt(Opens in a new window) happening throughout September.
Rain barrels and all necessary materials will be provided.
