Natural Areas Open House
Have you ever wondered what animals live in our parks? Have you noticed we cut down certain trees but not others? Did you know wild areas have a profound effect on people’s health? Join the Park District Natural Resources staff as we pull back the curtain and show you what it takes to keep natural neighborhood gems healthy and vibrant. We’ll answer any questions you have about natural areas and share some of our discoveries of wildlife in the parks. Receive a free Wild Columbine while supplies last, and pick up a Junior Explorer Passport. You might be surprised by just how many wild neighbors you really have!
