Join the Village of Westchester for our annual Juneteenth Celebrations — two days honoring the emancipation of enslaved African Americans with a Freedom Walk and flag-raising ceremony, live music, community vendors, and family fun.

June 19 — Freedom Walk & Flag-Raising Ceremony

Freedom Walk

Location: Grace Central Church, 10216 Kitchner St, Westchester, IL 60154

Participants must meet by 9:15 AM; walk commences promptly at 9:45 AM.

Flag-Raising Ceremony

Location: Village Hall, 10300 W Roosevelt Rd, Westchester, IL 60154

Time: 11:00 AM

June 20 — Block Party

Location: Gladstone Park, 10216 Kitchner St, Westchester, IL 60154

Time: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
