House of Creeps

$17.50 – $25The 3rd-Annual Schaumburg Halloween Carnival invites Chicagoland to experience two full weekends of boo-tastic family fun, featuring thrilling rides, spooky House of Creeps haunted house, tasty treats, trick-or-treating, costume contests, seasonally themed arts and crafts, a VIP: Very Insane Person bar/lounge, and more. Entrance to the carnival is free for all attendees, and parking is $5.
What is sure to be a seasonal highlight for Chicagoland families for the third year in-a-row, the Schaumburg Halloween carnival is offering even more frightful fun for two weekends, October 18 – 20 and October 25 – 27, 2024.
Carnival Hours are:
• Friday, October 18, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Saturday, October 19, 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Sunday, October 20, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Friday, October 25, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Saturday, October 26, 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Sunday, October 27, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
However, the fun doesn’t stop there, as once again, Wintrust Field is transforming into an immersive haunted house experience!
Expanded Haunted House + Kids Hours: Joining forces with The House of Creeps for the second year in-a-row, the carnival is transforming Wintrust Field, home of the Schaumburg Boomers baseball team, into a spooktacular haunted house. Tickets for the haunted house are $17.50 per person, when in advance purchased online and $25 at the door. *The House of Creeps is for ages 13 and older.
Each ticket includes access to the VIP: Very Insane Person, Bar and lounge, located on the second floor of Wintrust Stadium in the “Schaumburg Club.” VIP hosts a full-service bar and invites guests to socialize in the ghostly lounge with other haunted-housers, before making their way through The House of Creeps. VIP bar requires a haunted house ticket in order to enter, and is open during carnival hours October 18 – 20 and October 25 – 27, as well as October 28 – November 2. Tickets for The House of Creeps are encouraged to be purchased ahead of time, as it is expected to sell out each night.
Additionally, each day of the carnival, The House of Creeps is hosting a designated *“Kids Hour,” for those under 13-years of age, from 2:00pm-5:00pm for $10 each, so children to experience a less scary version of the haunted house. These tickets may also be purchased online.

● Saturday, October 19 + October 26:
○ Kid Hour: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
○ Haunted House + VIP Lounge Access: 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
● Sunday, October 20 + October 27:
○ Kid Hour: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
○ Haunted House + VIP Lounge Access: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
● Monday, October 28, Tuesday, October 29, Wednesday, October 30:
○ Haunted House + VIP Lounge Access: 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
● Thursday, October 31 – Saturday, November 2:
○ Haunted House + VIP Lounge Access: 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Costumes, Crafts + Trick-or-Treating:
Those bringing children to the carnival will be pleased to learn that Trick-or-Treat will again be hosted by all vendors each day of the carnival. Children will be provided with a special trick-or-treat monster-lantern bag and can collect goodies from each vendor. Additionally, families are encouraged to dress in costume and stop by the face painting booth and crafts tent to participate in free “make and take” kids crafts, such as DIY Halloween mason jar luminaries, coloring books and more.
Food & Beverage: Foodies attending the Halloween carnival will be thrilled to indulge in seasonal treats, including popcorn, cotton candy, caramel apples, corn dogs, hot dogs, polish sausage, nachos, and funnel cakes with a variety of toppings. The carnival will also host an open bar in the lobby of Wintrust Field, serving beer and seltzers for those 21+ years and older.

Carnival Ride Pricing + Hours Breakdown:
Carnival ride wristbands can be purchased onsite in affordable bundles each day, which include unlimited rides. Wristbands are $32 each. Daytime wristbands are good from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and nighttime wristbands are valid from 5:00pm to 10:00 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
