Hoffman Estates Fire Department Open House

The Hoffman Estates Fire Department is hosting two Fire Station Open Houses this October to kick off Fire Prevention Month.

• Saturday, Oct. 3: Fire Station 23, 1300 Westbury Drive

• Saturday, Oct. 10: Fire Station 21, 225 Flagstaff Ln.

The doors will be open from 1 to 4 p.m.

Bring your family and friends to:

• Meet your very own Hoffman Estates Firefighters,

• Learn about fire safety,

• Sit in various Fire Department vehicles,

• Challenge an obstacle course,

• Slide down the fire pole,

• Watch a LIVE FIRE demonstration,

• Engage with local vendors and community groups,

• Station 21: attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and hear the name of the winner of the Sled Hill Naming contest,
