Fourth of July Parade
Join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for the annual Fourth of July Parade! The parade steps off promptly at 9 a.m. from the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Slade Avenue and concludes near City Hall at Douglas and Highland.
Fourth of July Pet Parade
The Pet Parade returns for its third year and continues to be a crowd favorite. Taking place at the same time as the main parade, this festive event invites pet owners to walk a shortened route alongside their furry companions in front of the main parade.
Concert and Fireworks
The celebration continues at Festival Park, located at 132 S Grove Ave., from 5-10 p.m. Enjoy an evening filled with live music, food trucks, drinks, family-friendly games, a butter-making activity, the return of the popular pie-eating contest, and a spectacular fireworks display to close out the night.
Pie Eating Contest: Get ready to dig into one of summer’s sweetest traditions! The annual Pie Eating Contest, sponsored by Herb’s Bakery, will take place during one of the band intermissions.
Participation is free, with prizes awarded in three age groups: 6–12, 13–17, and 18+. Space is limited, and registration will close once all spots are filled. Participants must be checked in before the contest begins, and a signed waiver is required.
Fireworks will start around 9:20 p.m. and will last about 20 minutes.
Please note: You may bring food, but alcohol and pets are not permitted on festival grounds.
