Fish with the Cops
June 23, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
FreeJoin us at Happy Acres on Sunday, June 23rd, anytime between 9:30am and 12:30pm for a morning of fishing fun with members of the Itasca Police Department. Bring your fishing gear and bait for a chance to reel in some freshly stocked catfish at our tranquil pond, courtesy of the Itasca Lions Club. If you happen to catch a tagged fish, remember to remove it carefully and bring it to this year’s ItascaFest for a chance to win a prize in the annual fishing contest.
Don’t worry if the fish aren’t biting. Officers will serve hot dogs, chips, and soda for everyone. Watch for the Kona Ice truck, which is ready to serve delicious cold teats throughout the Fishing the Cops event.
