Fall on the Farm

September 14, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free

Get ready for some old-fashioned fun on the farm! Tour the mid-1800s limestone house and the historic red barn, meet some farmyard animals from Millers Petting Zoo(Opens in a new window) and even try your hand at some farmstead chores. See tractors and other antique farm equipment up close and personal and learn how they work. Be sure to bring your camera because the farm will be decorated for fall with plenty of photo opportunities throughout the property. There will be a barnyard-themed bounce house, make-and-take crafts and fun activities for all ages.

The Nature Foundation of Will County(Opens in a new window) will host a native plant pop-up sale, and Smokin’ Z BBQ(Opens in a new window) and Kona Ice(Opens in a new window) will be on site to provide some delicious lunch options. Oh, and there will be a band! While you’re listening to the bluegrass tunes of Rochambeau, Tapville Social(Opens in a new window) will be keeping us cool with some ice-cold brews.
