Fall Family Festival
Our Fall Family Festival from 2:30 – 5 PM on Sun, Oct 5 & 12, celebrates the changing of the seasons with an apple-solutely family fun afternoon!
Get ready for an unbe-leaf-able afternoon of family fun and exploration! We are bringing back some old favorites and some new, exciting activities to celebrate the changing of the seasons.
From 2:30 – 5 PM unless noted:
- Access to our newest traveling exhibit, Curious George™: Let’s Get Curious!
- Meet & Greet with Curious George and The Man in the Yellow Hat
- Get creative with Bubble Play and make giant bubbles!
- Kiddie train rides through our Habitat Park exhibit
- A petting farm, including goats and ducks
- Unusual animal meet and greets (2:30 – 4:30 only. Animals may include a sloth, tortoise, giant bullfrog, and cavy, with a separate room for reptiles and insects)
- An old-fashioned apple cider press demonstration and cider sampling courtesy of Historic Wagner Farm
- Meet and greet with Snow White (3 – 4:30 only)
- Children’s DJ and Dance Party
- Our can’t-do-this-at-home art activity: Paint a Car!
- PLUS: All 16 indoor exhibits will be open for exploration! Habitat Park will be closed for the kiddie train rides.
The event will occur rain or shine. Bubble play will cancel in case of rain. Kiddie train, paint-a-car, and petting farm will be suspended in case of lightning.
