Depot’s 150th Birthday Bash

The Bartlett Depot Museum will be open with a fun schedule of activities. No registration required.
10:15 a.m. – Bartlett in TV, Radio & Film Trivia
Think you know a lot about Bartlett on the silver screen, small screen and through the air waves? Test your knowledge with this fun multi-question trivia quiz. Donuts & beverages too!
11 a.m. – Milwaukee Road History by Robert Storozuk
Robert Storozuk, former president of the Milwaukee Road Historical Association and current curator, will talk about the history of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad.
Noon – Birthday Cake!
Tune up those vocal cords for the Happy Birthday song.
12:30 p.m. – The Magic Man
The January 1, 1876, Elgin Advocate reported that Bartlett, then only 3 years old, βhas sprung up if by magicβ¦β due to the railroad and depot. Come be amazed by Tom Boz, the Magic Man.
1 p.m. – Heart of Old Bartlett Walking Tour
Step back in time and take a journey along Railroad & Bartlett Avenues to discover what life was like in early Bartlett! Learn about the first businesses and homes that βsprung up as if by magic.β
1:30 to 2 p.m. – Family Bingo
Lucky winners who get to call out βB-I-N-G-Oβ will get prizes!
