DE-Construction House

Included in general admissionCurious about what’s inside a keyboard or a toy? Join us in the DE-Construction House to find out what makes things tick, click, move, bounce, or whirl! Unlike traditional building activities in DCM’s Construction House, this hands-on experience invites children to take things apart. Using real tools, guests will safely dismantle electronics and toys to explore how different components work.
This process sparks curiosity, encourages problem-solving, and builds critical thinking skills. By investigating gears, circuits, and switches, children can develop an understanding of engineering, mechanics, and cause-and-effect relationships. Plus, taking things apart fosters patience, perseverance, and creativity—essential skills for future inventors and innovators!
*Deconstruction will begin at 9:30am and continue as long as supplies last.
