Celebrate Holi
April 12, 10:00 am - 11:30 am
FreeJoin us as the Meher Dance Company presents a special event of storytelling, music, dance, and a color throw! If you wish to engage in the color throwing portion of the event, dress for a mess and wear white clothing. The color throw will be held outside, weather permitting.
Holi is a vibrant and beautiful festival filled with joy, fun, and colors that is traditionally celebrated in Hinduism but is now enjoyed around the world by people from all different backgrounds. This festival marks the arrival of spring, new beginnings, and the triumph of good over evil.
During the celebration, people come together to play and laugh, smearing each other with brightly colored powders. It’s a time to let go of inhibitions, dance to lively music, make crafts, and throw off the gloom of winter.
Live in-person. Registration required.
