Block Party

August 25, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of fun and community at our Block Party on Sunday, August 25, from noon to 2 pm! We’re pulling out all the stops to make this event a blast for everyone.

Purchase lunch from food trucks from local Palatine favorite restaurants Taco Shop and Rep’s Place, or feel free to bring your own picnic favorites. Kids will love the facepainter, waterslide, and inflatables, ensuring endless summer entertainment.

To top it all off, we’re thrilled to feature the Vintage Swing Band! Celebrating American Big Band music, the Vintage Swing Band specializes in performing the classic, beloved standards of the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Audiences love the band’s punchy instrumentals and dynamic vocal solos. Established in 2019 by frontman Bruce Cameron, the Vintage Swing Band aims to preserve the tradition of Big Band for nostalgic listeners as well as bring jazz to life for budding new enthusiasts.

Come join us for an afternoon filled with great food, fantastic music, and loads of fun! We can’t wait to see you there!
