Author Visit: Avani Chhaya

Saturday, October 17, 2026 · 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Join us for a special storytime featuring local author Avani Chhaya, reading her new picture book Lakshmi at the Lake!

Follow Lakshmi on a week full of outdoor adventure, from admiring cypress trees with Mama to birding with Daddy and packing parathas for a lakeside picnic with Nani. Along the way, she discovers there's more to explore in nature (and in her own backyard) than she ever imagined. It's a sweet, heartfelt story about slowing down, getting outside, and making memories with the people you love.
