Celebrate the journey of the amazing monarch butterfly, as the final generation of 2026 migrates to Mexico. Visitors will be able to get a behind-the-scenes view of our volunteer-led butterfly rearing operation. Children can create a butterfly craft to take home. At 3 p.m. adult butterflies will be released behind the Nature Center to begin their long journey to Michoacán, Mexico. Refreshments will be available after the final release.
