South Asian Perspective Workshop
January 25, 2025, 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm
FreeJoin us for a fun and creative activity inspired by the art of Grishma Shah, a painter who shares her story through her paintings. Grishmaβs art explores how we see beauty, disability, and different identities. In this program, weβll think about how our bodies change, what beauty means to us, and talk about how we treat others. Through art, talking, and reflecting, weβll explore how we can be kinder and more accepting of everyone, no matter what they look like. Children will create artwork that celebrates the beautiful parts of themselvesβboth the inner qualities that never change and the external traits that may change over time. Come join us for an inspiring and fun time where weβll learn to see the world in new ways!
While this program is designed for attendees of all ages, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Registration required.
