Storytime with Dupage County Farm Bureau
October 9, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
FreeJoin us for a storytime and activity in partnership with the DuPage County Farm Bureau! Listen to a reading of “Applesauce Day”, followed by a lesson on apple trees and an apple tasting. **
The book “Applesauce Day” by Lisa J. Amstutz will be read and Education Coordinator Kristina Baumbach from the Dupage County Farm Bureau will teach a short lesson on apple trees and how apples are produced at orchards today. After the lesson, students can participate in an apple taste test and craft “Apple-copters” to take home.
**This a ticketed event with limited space, tickets will be handed out at the Children’s Services Desk 30 minute prior to the event.
