Whether your child is taking their first steps on the ice or looking to perfect their spins and jumps, our ice-skating program has something for everyone. We offer pre-school classes for our littlest skaters (ages 3-5), where they can learn the basics in a fun and supportive environment. For older kids, ages 6-15, our youth classes are skill-based, allowing skaters to progress at their own pace, with specialty classes available for those ready to tackle more advanced techniques.
Our classes typically run in 7-to-10-week sessions throughout the year and don’t worry about gear—ice skates can be rented on-site for all lessons.
Infinite Style Synchronized Skating Team
For skaters ready to take on the challenge of synchronized skating, the Park District is proud to offer the Infinite Style team. This competitive program is open to skaters aged 7-17 with Pre-Free Skate or higher experience. It’s a fantastic way to build teamwork, precision, and confidence on the ice.
