Ribbon-cutting ceremonies for renovated playgrounds at Central Park and South Pointe Park

The Naperville Park District invites the community to celebrate the official openings of two newly renovated playgrounds at Central Park and South Pointe Park.
The celebration for Central Parkโ€™s playground, located at 104 E. Benton Avenue, is planned for Tuesday, August 6 at 5:00 p.m., and the event at South Pointe Park, located at 5504 Switch Grass Lane, will be held the following Tuesday, August 13 at 5:00 p.m.

Both events will feature remarks from Park Board President, Mary Gibson, followed by a ribbon cutting. The Park District will provide light refreshments, and children are invited to explore both parksโ€™ new play features.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for the following day (Central Park โ€“ Wednesday, August 7; South Pointe Park – Wednesday, August 14). Residents can check for the latest updates on the Cancellations and Closures tab at www.napervilleparks.org/cancellations.
