Schaumburg Youth Orchestra
Join the Schaumburg Youth Orchestra as they perform a string mini-concert highlighting our visiting exhibit, Violins of Hope.
The exhibit, hosted by JCC Chicago and other partner organizations, is coming to our Library and surrounding areas across Illinois Aug. 7 – Sept. 7. This collection of string instruments played by Jewish musicians before and during the Holocaust have been painstakingly restored and are now coming to our area for cultural exhibitions, performances and community education with a message of hope, resistance, resilience and unity.
