Step into the magic aboard our beautifully decorated 1950s vintage elevated cars and travel along an authentic rail line from 1896—a one-of-a-kind journey your family will treasure forever.
A Special Visit from Santa!
During your ride, Santa Claus himself will make a merry appearance—greeting each family, snapping cheerful selfies, and spreading festive cheer that brings smiles to young and old alike.
Warm Up with Hot Chocolate & Holiday Charm
Before departure, enjoy a steaming cup of delicious hot chocolate served inside our historic 1924 train car, decked out in cozy vintage holiday décor. The station comes alive with twinkling lights, classic Christmas tunes, and heartwarming ambiance, making it the perfect start to your holiday adventure.The train leaves at approximately 4:25 pm, so plan to arrive a bit early. Boarding begins at the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve. Transportation is NOT included. Please indicate who you will be sitting with as once the train is seated there will not be the ability to switch trains at the site. The Jon Duerr Forest Preserve is located at 35w003 Rte. 31, South Elgin, IL.
