Ready and Rescue Kids Day
Saturday, May 2, 2026 · 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Curious about medicine and the people who help during emergencies? Join us for a family-friendly event exploring the ins and outs of the human body, featuring real-life EMS (Emergency Medical Services) heroes!
Kids can enjoy fun, hands-on experiments and crafts, including a germ station demonstrating the importance of hand washing, creating an articulated human hand model that really moves, and making mega-sized blood and body cells to better understand the tiniest parts of the human body. Guests will also be able to hop on one of Superior Ambulance Service’s ambulances and explore the life-saving equipment onboard, meet local EMTs, tour a historic Elmhurst Fire Department 1922 Seagrave Fire Engine, and learn more about health with interactive activities from Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital.
