Pumpkin Smash

FreeDon’t trash it, smash it! Pumpkin smash is an annual waste reduction and education effort in Illinois first begun by SCARCE. It diverts pumpkins from landfills by providing locations for you to drop off your pumpkins to be composted. Come smash your pumpkins in a dumpster located at the Clauss Recreation Center Maintenance Barn, 430 Mensching Rd. The dumpster will be available the whole weekend, but staff will be there in the morning.
