Pumpkin Smash
Green Your Halloween at the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Smash! Don’t toss your pumpkins in the trash—smash them for a cause! Join us at the Rec Center parking lot for a fun, eco-friendly event where you can smash your carved or uncarved pumpkins and gourds using a variety of smashing tools. This annual event helps keep pumpkins out of landfills by turning them into nutrient-rich compost. Thanks to the support of GROOT and help from the Boy Scouts, all smashed pumpkins will be collected and transported for composting. Every participant is entered into a raffle for fun prizes! Let’s have a smashing good time while doing something great for the planet!
