Party in the Park and Recreation Park Grand Opening
Mark your calendars and join us for the official Grand Opening of Recreation Park on Wednesday, July 30 5:30-7:00pm. Recreation Park is the newest park addition to Wood Dale Park District! The park is located next to the Recreation Complex at 111 E. Foster Ave.
Event Details:
Start the celebration with a brief welcome and remarks from Executive Director Jon Marquardt, followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Then, stick around to enjoy:
Free hot dogs
Free Ice Cream (one per person)
Balloon artist
Giveaways
Explore all the exciting new park amenities!
Recreation Park was designed with play for all ages and abilities in mind. Highlights include:
An inclusive playground with a zip line
Tennis and Pickleball courts
A fun obstacle course, 40-yard dash, P6Ball, and much more!
