Oak Brook Park District Birthday Celebration
Celebrate the Park District’s birthday with us!
The Oak Brook Park District invites members and the community to the Family Recreation Center on Friday, November 7 for an open house celebrating the Park District’s birthday! Enjoy snacks, raffles, activities for all ages to enjoy, and giveaways from our valued community partners and vendors.
Schedule of activities:
- All day – The Family Recreation Center is open to the community, admission FREE! Come check out our fitness center, walking track, and more!
- All day – The Tennis Center is waiving all guest fees and will have snacks available!
- 7:30-9:30am – Pickleball Open Play (6 courts)
- 9:30am-1pm – Pickleball Open Play (3 courts)
- 10am – Special Group Fitness Class: Block Party at the Barre
- 11am-2pm – Health & Wellness Fair featuring swag, snacks, raffles, bounce house, and more!
- Free Blood Pressure Screenings provided by Concierge Care (no insurance card needed)
- Free Flu Shots provided by Walgreens (no insurance card needed)
- 12pm – Try it Free! Get Fit Get Tough (Meet at the OBPD Fit Central Table at the Health & Wellness Fair)
- 12-9pm – The community is invited to enjoy open swim for FREE at Swim Central!
- 3-4pm – Open Gym Basketball on Court 1
- 5-6pm Water Safety Activities for the entire family!
- Meet the Lifeguard, pool rules, (grab the brick/ring buoy, reach or throw, don’t go)
- Splash/Cannonball Contest with prizes!
- 8-10pm – Open Gym Basketball on Court 1
