Millennium Art Festival
June 28, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
FreeThis top-ranked three-day show, popping up in the heart of Chicago’s vibrant downtown, attracts locals and tourists alike, giving them plenty of time to enjoy the art of 120 juried artists from near and far. Located just a few blocks north of Millennium Park, guests will see an array of original artwork including paintings, ceramics, photography, furniture and more, at all price points. Festival food, live music, and artist demonstrations add to the festive vibe of the show. Admission is free and parking is available in the nearby Millennium Parking Garage. Attendees are invited to bring their gently used wall art to the festival where it will be donated to the Chicago Furniture Bank, a local nonprofit that distributes furnishings and art to those leaving shelters and moving into permanent housing. Several artists from this show are participating in Amdur Productions’ Green Ribbon Project. Artists place a green ribbon on a piece of art in their booth, and if the piece is sold, 10% of the sale will be donated to Amdur’s charitable partner. For more information, contact Amdur Productions at 847-926-4300.
