Meet the Creator of the Iconic Ferrari Daytona Spyder from Miami Vice: Tom McBurnie
Join us for a rare and historic opportunity to meet legendary builder Thomas McBurnie and hear the fascinating story of the #1 Miami Vice Ferrari Daytona Replica-the very first Daytona prototype ever built, then see the actual car in-person at Volo Museum!
Discover how McBurnie crafted this iconic machine, how it found its way onto the hit TV series Miami Vice, and how it became one of the most recognizable cars of the 1980s. Then hear from Museum Director, Brian Grams, about the car’s mysterious disappearance after the series, the decades-long belief it was destroyed, and the incredible process of tracking it down, verifying its authenticity, and bringing it back into the spotlight.
Autographs, photo ops, and an official certification of the vehicle will happen after the Q&A. Photographs will be taken by the visitors with their personal devices.
