Luminaria
Our 41st Annual Luminaria is scheduled for Friday, December 5 at 6:30 pm. Volunteers will help bring the holiday spirit to Streamwood by lining the median of Park Boulevard with 3,000 luminarias, from Lake Street to Schaumburg Road. Once set up and lit—this is a spectacular sight! The candles continue to glow for hours into the night.
The entire Municipal Campus will also be filled with light, as luminaria line Village Hall, the Police Station, and Veterans Memorial. We will hold a tree lighting ceremony with thousands of colorful, twinkling lights covering the trees. Kids can visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at Village Hall to find out if they are on the naughty or nice list!
We look forward to seeing everyone at this favorite holiday event.
