FreeCreate some lasting memories by celebrating the season in Lisle! Visit downtown Lisle on December 7, 2024 to join in holiday tradition and share the merriment! Mr. and Mrs. Claus will greet visitors to the Museums at Lisle Station Park, there will be a Santa Parade, holiday crafts, hot chocolate, the annual Merry on Main downtown business event, and a gathering near Village Hall for the annual tree lighting ceremony! Luminaria displayed throughout downtown Lisle will light the way starting at 3:00 p.m., which combined with these events will help set the festive atmosphere throughout downtown Lisle. These time-honored traditions are sure to kindle the joy of the season and leave you feeling jolly! Read below for more details.
Santa Parade & Tree Lighting
Join in the fun and watch the holiday parade through downtown Lisle! Watch Village officials, local organizations, friends, neighbors and Santa as part of this time-honored tradition. The parade will kick off at 4:30 p.m., followed by the annual tree lighting ceremony at 5:00 p.m. in front of Village Hall. Santa Parade Entry Form.
Once Upon a Christmas
Bring the whole family for some old-fashioned holiday fun! From 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. “Once Upon a Christmas” will include Mr. and Mrs. Claus at the train depot, holiday craft in the Beau Bien Tavern, a holiday workshop in the Blacksmith shop, hot chocolate, warm apple cider, and more! The museum is located at 921 School Street and the event is hosted by the Lisle Heritage Society and the Lisle Park District.
Shop Small in Lisle
(Throughout the day) – Take a stroll down Main Street and join participating downtown businesses and restaurants for holiday fun! Enjoy holiday themed activities including games, decorated windows, store and restaurant specials, giveaways and drawings, holiday treats and more!
