Juneteenth Celebrations
Westchester turns 100 in 2025 — and what better way to honor our past and look ahead to the future than through our Juneteenth Celebrations.
Join us for two days full of reflection, connection, and celebration as we recognize the significance of Juneteenth and continue to build a stronger, more united village.
📅 June 19 – Freedom Walk & Flag-Raising Ceremony
🕙 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Westchester Village Hall
Begin the day with a symbolic Freedom Walk through the heart of our community, concluding with a powerful flag-raising ceremony at Village Hall.
After the ceremony, explore resource vendors on-site, including the Westchester Public Library and more.
📅 June 21 – Community Celebration
🕚 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Gladstone Park
Celebrate Juneteenth with us at Gladstone Park! This festive day will feature:
