Infant Massage: A Free Parent Workshop

Join us for an Infant Massage Workshop on Sunday, April 19 from 8:30 – 10 am!

The workshop will be led by Heloise Stauff from Snuggly Start, Certified Educator of Infant Massage with Infant Massage USA.

This introductory workshop will introduce parents to infant massage, how to relieve gas, colic, and soothe a crying baby. Expectant parents are welcome to attend and can practice infant massage on dolls that will be provided. Snuggly Start teaches parents and caregivers proven Infant Massage routines in 5*75-minutes sessions at home or on-site. Most families report calmer babies, faster soothing, and stronger bonding.

Older siblings are welcome too! We will have museum guides present to play with the children while the adults learn about infant massage with their babies or provided doll mannequins.

This free parent education session is possible thanks to a grant from the Oak Park Township and River Forest Township Youth Services Committees.
