Independence Day Celebration

Get ready for an unforgettable experience as Yorkville goes all out to commemorate America's 250th birthday during the 2026 Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 4th! The celebration will include Yorkville's favorite traditions with the annual parade, local food and family activities at Town Square - all culminating to a monumental evening display!

This year's celebration will feature a brand-new patriotic FIREWORKS & DRONE SHOW that amplifies the exciting fireworks show Yorkville is known for by adding hundreds of illuminated pyrotechnic drones! This show will feature a musical soundtrack synchronized to the patriotic imagery and exhilarating fireworks to create an unforgettable experience of light, sound and celebration!

INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE - Saturday, July 4 - 9:00am
Grab your chairs and get ready for a fantastic time at the Yorkville Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 4! The parade begins at 9am starting at the Yorkville High School and ending at Town Square Park.

TOWN SQUARE ACTIVITIES - Saturday, July 4 - 10:00am-Noon*
The activities begin immediately after the parade and end at Noon. Activities will include children's foot races, bounce houses, and a performance by the Yorkville Community Band. In addition to family activities, food and drinks will be available for purchase from local vendors at Town Square.

FIREWORKS & DRONE SHOW - Saturday, July 4 - 9:30pm
This year's celebration will feature a brand-new, groundbreaking FIREWORKS & DRONE SHOW that is sure to make Yorkville THE place to celebrate! Watch as hundreds of pyrotechnic drones dance across the night sky combined with the explosive fireworks creating an electric and thrilling show that will leave spectators in awe. This show will also feature a patriotic musical soundtrack professionally synchronized to the display redefining how Yorkville experiences the Fourth of July as we blend tradition with technology in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
