February: In honor of Black History Month, read about 11-year-old Stella Mills who lives in segregated, Depression-era North Carolina in 1932 and confronts escalating racism forcing her to find courage and unity to fight back against prejudice and injustice. Reading levels 3-5 grades. Pick up your own copy of the book at the Santori Children’s Desk after January 23.
