Hoffman Estates Fire Department Open House
The Hoffman Estates Fire Department is kicking off Fire Prevention Month by hosting Fire Station Open Houses this October. Help us raise fire prevention awareness and create a safer community by joining us for station tours, fire sprinkler demonstrations, vendor booths and to practice hands-on skills with a CPR station and fire extinguisher use with a live fire simulator.
Activities for children include sliding down the fire pole, touch-a-truck, and a firefighter obstacle course. Sparky the Fire Dog will be there, and the Air Methods aeromedical helicopter is scheduled land next to Firehouse 24.
Fire Station Open Houses run from 1 to 4 p.m. on the following dates:
Saturday, Oct. 4: Firehouse 23, 1300 Westbury Drive
Saturday, Oct. 11: Fire House 24, 5775 Beacon Pointe Drive
