Free Family Concert with Jim Gill
February 12, 2023, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
FreeSpace is limited, so register to attend to secure your spot! All are welcome to attend, but this event is best for toddlers and preschoolers and their parents/caregivers.
This concert led by musician Jim Gill will be fun and interactive. It will also feature a read-along and sing-along of one of Jimβs musical books, May There Always Be Sunshine. Jim will share artwork that children from across the country have created based on his book and get everyone excited for our very own βMay There Always Beβ projectβ¦β¦serving everyone in the Collaboration for Early Childhood community! After the concert, children and family members will work together to create pages that will be part of our community-wide VIDEO book!
Please note: concert-goers may sit on the floor to enjoy the music so there’s plenty of space to wiggle and to dance. Bring a blanket or a cushion if you would like!
About Jim Gill – Jim Gill is a musician and author known for celebrating active play. In concert, Jim strums energizing rhythms on his banjo while everyone sings, claps, and dances along to his silly and inspiring musical games. Each concert is more than a show to watch β it is an opportunity for play! Jim promises, in concert, to share a non-stop selection of sing-alongs, dance-alongs, finger plays and tongue twisters.
