Festival del Niño

FreeJoin us on Saturday, June 8th from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm for Festival del Niño, a family-friendly field day celebrating our community’s children and healthy, happy lifestyles. This family-friendly field day event takes place in Harrison Park, where the Museum is located, and is presented by NMMA’s talented education department. Festival del Niño is free of charge.
This year we are pleased to share that Be My Neighbor Day, presented by WTTW and Fred Rogers Productions, with support from the PNC Foundation will coincide with Festival del Niño! Special activities include appearances by Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat, WTTW Kids Learn & Play kindergarten readiness activities, and more.
Festival del Niño guests will enjoy:
- Music and dance performances on the main stage
- Art activities like cardboard world, mini mural-making, life-size Jenga, and more
- Carnival games such as ring toss, bowling, and egg races
UI Health will provide FREE health services like:
- Youth mental health awareness
- Pediatric oral hygiene education
- Blood pressure screenings for adults
- Spanish language kidney transplant clinic
- Lung cancer screenings
