Family Biking Adventure

FreeBring the whole family on a naturalist-guided bike tour along the Fox River. Starting at Les Arends Forest Preserve, we’ll cycle south on the Fox River Trail into the village of North Aurora. After crossing the river, our adventure will continue through Glenwood Park Forest Preserve and into charming downtown Batavia. You can treat your family to a refreshing ice cream at the Batavia Creamery before cycling back to our starting point. This is an 8-mile ride and the pace will be leisurely, with stops along the way for the naturalist to interpret the natural and cultural history of the forest preserves. All riding will be on paved surfaces. Participants provide their own bikes and must wear a helmet.
