EarthCraft

EarthCraft is a one-day program presented in partnership with Jane Addams Hull-House Museum and Urban Rivers. The event features hands-on art workshops connected to science and sustainability, science lectures, live performances, and an outdoor vendor market.

Workshops include:
Ceramic animation (1 PM) with Haylie Jimenez
Kite making with sustainable materials (2 PM) with Eseosa Ebebiri and Kevi Montgomery
Basket weaving and urban foraging (3 PM) with Shane A. Edwards
River conservation and seed bomb making (4 PM) with Sage Rossman of Urban Rivers

Performances include:
Song Circle with Ultra-Violet Archer (12:30 PM)
Science-inspired puppet show by Jabberwocky Marionettes (4 PM)
Music performance by Hypothetical Star (5 PM)
The outdoor art market (12–6 PM) features local vendors Ronny Bass, Catherine Carrol, and Rip Purposed.

A decompression craft zone with hands-on activities will also be available in the courtyard.
