Earth Week

Join us at Wonder Works from 4/22-27 as we celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day with hands on earth-themed experiences! No special tickets are required for these museum activities.

Daily storytime at 11am will focus on nature and earth themes.

In our recycled materials maker station, children will use building tools specially designed for little hands, to build treasures to take home. Recycled cardboard tubes and other materials can become a binoculars, boats, or even a rocket to the moon in our maker studio. Recycled materials will also be used to make an art mural.

The Art Room sensory bin will be filled with dirt and plastic worms for sensory exploration and to help the children feel more connected to Mother Earth.

Families who ordered free tree shrubs from the Neighborhood Forest can also pick up their shrub during Earth Week at the front desk.
