Family Flashlight Walk
November 7, 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Kick off November with a brisk evening walk through Kimball Hill Park from 5:30-7pm! Bring your flashlights and stop for a craft, glow stick fun and autumn activities along the way. To usher in the season of Thanksgiving, we will be collecting non-perishable goods for local families in need at the start of the walk.
Items most needed by local food pantries include:
Rice
Oatmeal
Pasta
Pasta sauce
Ramen noodles
Dried and canned beans
Peanut butter
Cereal
Dried fruits and vegetables
Canned fish and poultry
Nuts and seeds
Pre-packaged childrenโs snacks
Canned vegetables and fruits (less popular, but still useful)
Condiments i.e. ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, relish
