Bridging the Gap Parade
September 14, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Proviso Leyden Council for Community Action (PLCCA), a nonprofit organization serving low-income residents of Proviso and Leyden townships, including Brookfield, will host its Bridging the Gap Parade 2024 on Saturday, Sept. 14.
The parade steps off at 1 p.m. at Broadview Baptist Church, 2100 S. 25th Ave., heading north to Madison Street and then east to the Proviso East Stadium, where there will be a Community Resource Fair, appearances by local celebrities, live music, food trucks and other fun activities.
