Holi: The Festival of Colors with Natya Dance Theater

FreeCelebrate the Hindu Festival of Colors, Holi, with the world renowned Natya Dance Theater. Delight in a vibrant, interactive performance that brings Southern Indian stories to life through a unique art form called Bharata Natyam. Through dance, music, and theatre, the Natya Dance Theatre dancers will demonstrate the history and traditions of Holi.
Natya Dance Theatre (NDT), under the artistic leadership of Hema Rajagopalan, is one of the most critically acclaimed and culturally treasured Indian dance companies in the United States. Natya was founded in 1974, in Chicago, IL. The highly innovative work of NDT offers profound and subtle expressions of humanity’s deepest questions and values in the context of our present-day lives.
