Happy Leap Year! Celebrate this once-every-four-year day with crafts, activities and a special birthday celebration for those born on February 29. (Babies–Grade 5 with an adult) This event is for children and adults to participate in together.
Leap Day only happens once every 4 years! Let's celebrate by reading a story about Leap Day and making a time capsule! All ages.
District 23 families are invited to spend time building an alien, decorating and eating an out of this world cookie, making a reading magnet and listening to Dr. Angelaccio Superintendent read a book that takes place in space.

Celebrate Black History Month with this fun and informative event! Shanta presents an engaging program of folktales, chants, songs and musical instruments from the African and African-American experience. For families.
Your little artist will have tons of fun making messy art you can take home! Sensory play sparks creativity, builds problem-solving skills and language development, and more! Please come dressed to make a mess. For ages 2-6 with an adult. Walk-ins are welcome if there is space to accommodate.
