Drop-in event recommended for ages 3-8, with participating adult. We’re bringing the museum to you! We’ll have three exciting exhibits on loan from the DuPage Children’s Museum, plus some of our own special items, available for three days of hands-on exploration.
From sorting pinecones to digging in smooth seeds, children ages 1–5 will explore the sights, smells, and textures that nature has to offer during this free, open-ended experience. Take in a tall tale during story time, get messy at the process art station, sift and scoop at the sensory bin, or make music.
Come to the library and play BINGO and you may win a book to keep!

I spy with my little eye….a nature scavenger hunt! Use our clues to find what’s “hiding” on our Library lawn. Bring the whole family. Register one name per family. BALibrary Lawn, east of the upper parking lot.

Come on down to the library lobby and experience the magic of our green screen that will take you into space! We are hosting a drop-in event where the green screen will be displaying multiple space-themed backgrounds that you can use as a backdrop to get your picture taken.
Show off your bubble skills! There’s small bubbles, big bubbles, and all the in between. This is an outdoor event.
