Doors will open at the scheduled published start time. Those on the waiting list may be admitted to the program 10 minutes after the published start time of the program if space is available.
Start your Friday morning off at the library with a fun storytime all about animals. A new animal each week! Some bilingual Spanish.
Our Illinois Resident Free Days include access to all open animal and permanent exhibit and seasonal Stingray Touch. Take a deeper look at our current available exhibits here. We offer several reservation options for Free Days. For those who prefer to plan ahead, online ticket reservations are available with a $5 convenience fee per order....
It’s Egg-tober! Bring your favorite hound to Howl-O- Ween! Dogs hunt for spooky eggs filled with treats, and brave our Howling House of Terrier. Enter your dogs in our costume contest and take home prizes. Event includes a goody bag for all the eggs your dog can collect and a spooky selfie with your Halloween...
Did you know Franklin Park was named Bee City, USA? See real bees up close! Hear from the Village of Franklin Park’s own beekeeper, Monika Suryovich, on the importance of bees in the community, and then enjoy a story and craft. This program is in partnership with the Village of Franklin Park’s Tree Preservation Board.
Let's celebrate our friend, the humble Bumblebee! Drop by the Library anytime during the program for some bee-themed activities just for little ones 5 and under.
