Take Me Fishing
Parents, your kids are ready to cast their lines! Join us for the Take Me Fishing Event at beautiful Bernas Park. No fishing license? No problem! This event takes place during Illinois Free Fishing Days, so fishing licenses aren’t required. Our friendly staff will be on hand to assist participants as needed, making it a perfect experience for beginners and seasoned anglers alike. Plus, enjoy fishing prizes and giveaways while supplies last! Come prepared for an outdoor experience. Don’t miss this chance to create lasting memories with your family while enjoying the great outdoors. See you at Bernas Park! Bring your own fishing gear. Don’t have a fishing rod? No worries—rental poles will be available for use during the event. Bait will be provided free of charge while supplies last.
