Winter break can be a nice time to spend time with family and friends, but it also can be rough to lose the structure of the regular days with school and/or scheduled activities. Don’t worry! We’ve gathered some great winter break camps for your kids to have fun and enjoy games, sports, crafts, obstacle courses, tumbling, swimming, field trips, art, science, math, building, nature, and more!

Keep your brain (and body) active during winter break. Join us for two-day camps filled with active, hands-on engineering and building. Register for one or both! Camps are for children in grades 1-5.

Construction Zone | December 27 – 28 | 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Is building your thing? Combine math, art, and real tools to create cool, colorful projects.

Cardboard Engineering | January 3 – 4 | 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Measure twice, cut once – that’s the carpenter’s rule. Learn the basics of carpentry and use real tools to construct a useable game table.

First week of winter break camp is themed “The Night After Xmas” based on the well-known poem “Twas Night Before Christmas” and campers will take a Field Trip to Naperville Yard Sport Center.  The holidays aren’t over yet!  Second week of camp is themed “Camp Spirit Week” and campers will take a field Trip to Pelican Harbor Indoor Pool.  Show us your camp spirit through team banners, goofy hats, crazy socks, crazy hair day, mismatch day, and so much more!  Let’s start the New Year being silly and creative!  Camps run from 9am-4pm daily with extended care options available.  Camps are for children ages 4-12 years.  Join us for half a day, full day, or the full week!

Looking for something fun for your kids to do over Winter Break? Look no further than the Naperville Park District’s Winter Break Camps! Choose from a wide variety of experiences from art and athletics to science and day camps for kids ages 3-17. One day and multi-day activities are offered. Players will learn life skills and how to operate outside of their comfort zone. Coach Greg and his staff will be leading all hours of instruction and sharing personal stories to help inspire and motivate the players in camp.

Both camps are divided by age groups as follows:
Grade 3-4 Boys/Girls: 9:00 – 10:30 am
Grade 5-6 Boys/Girls: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Grade 7-8 Boys/Girls: 12:00 – 1:30 pm

Enjoy activities, sports, games and crafts with the Blue Moose Staff… up to 8 mornings full of fun! Meet some new friends or enjoy spending time with old ones, learn new games, play your favorite sports, and make some creative craft projects.
