A Happenin Halloween
Celebrate Halloween with the York Center Park District! We will have carnival games, a pumpkin patch, hay rides and much more! Be sure to wear your most creative Halloween costume for our annual costume contest! Don’t miss out on an event that’s fun for the whole family! (Weather permitting; the pumpkin patch will be in our gym). Concessions and raffles will be available for purchase.

Turkey Hoops
Come win your family’s Thanksgiving dinner at York Center Park District’s 8th annual Turkey Hoops competition. Teams will be made up of parent/child duos that will compete in our free throw contest. Each team member will shoot ten free throws, the team that makes the most combined shots in their age division wins! The night will end with pizza, pop, and raffle prizes.

Winter Wonderland
Come visit Santa as he makes a special stop at the York Center Park District to visit with all the good girls and boys. Santa will be available to take pictures, listen to your special wishes, and share in the holiday spirit! Our YCPD preschool and KEP programs will have a special winter performance to kick-off our event. Holiday games and light refreshments will be available.

Community Clean-Up
Come out and help the York Center Park District keep our parks looking GREAT! The Parks department is looking for your help to preserve our natural environment. Join us as we tend to our prairie restoration area. We’ll be picking up litter in and around Knolls and Knolls Community Park. This is also a great way for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to earn their environmental patches and service hours.

Bountiful Bingo
ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUESTED. Enter our Bountiful Bingo competition for a chance to win food items for your 2022 Thanksgiving dinner!
