Some of the most beloved camps in the southwest suburbs fill up fast, so be ready and armed with the knowledge you need to get your child involved in the camps you want. Registration dates and practices vary from camp to camp, so be sure to know your chosen camps preferred method. This list offers summer camps that are full day, but if you want something with less structure and commitment, going through your park district’s catalog is a great place to start. Princess Dance Camp

An enchanting dance camp themed around all of your dancers favorite princesses! Games, dancing, and stories about a different princess each day, including FROZEN! Just for da boyz!! A 3-day adventure with Jake & Neverland Pirates, Star Wars, and the Avengers! Boys get to move, create, and learn. Each day involves new characters, new crafts, and of course, snacks! Boys to wear sweat pants, t-shirt, gym shoes. Fee: $135

Keep kids occupied the week before school starts by signing them up for Summer Splash Swim Camp! This camp is the perfect opportunity to enhance your swimmers self-esteem, develop skills, and improve their ability to perform in the water. It’s a great way to keep fit and make new friends. Camp will be two hours of water time with skill based instruction. Remainder of camp will be spent enjoying outdoor activities, crafts, and a snack. Activities will be age and swim level appropriate and conducted by our certified lifeguard and swim instructors. Camp is August 5 – August 9, Monday-Friday, from 9:00A-12:30P. Resident fee is $159. Non-resident fee is $189. Resident registration begins February 4th. Non-resident registration begins February 18th.
